Making candied Lemons

Candied Citrus

This really is quite easy to do preheat your oven to 140C or 275F, cut up 2 small-medium sized lemons (or limes, grapefruit, tangerine etc) and place on a lined baking tray. Sprinkle generously with white sugar and place in the oven for approx 45 minutes. Remove and place on a plate to cool. These can be stored in an airtight container for at least a week.

Ingredients:

  • small/medium lemons
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • lined baking tray
  • preheated over

Prep Time:

  • 5 Minutes cutting
  • 45 minutes cooking
